📖 Overview
Sawspine spikefish (Paratriacanthodes retrospinis) is a ray-finned fish of the family Triacanthodidae. It inhabits marine (saltwater) waters in deep-water environments. This species can reach a maximum total length of 12 cm. It occurs at depths between 418 and 920 metres. With a trophic level of 4.3, it is an apex predator.
