🐟 Physical Description
Dorsal spines (total): 15 - 16; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9 - 10; Anal spines: 3; Anal soft rays: 7 - 8; Vertebrae: 25 - 27. Diagnosis: lachrymal plus three tubular infraorbitals; well-developed visor-like hanging pad on pharynx roof . Cheek and chest fully scaled. 5-6 scales between base of pectoral and pelvic fins . Caudal fin normally rounded , upper lobe sometimes with a slight prolongation in male specimens . : fusiform / normal.
