Parabathymyrus Fijiensis (Parabathymyrus fijiensis), first described by Karmovskaya, 2004 is a medium-sized fish in the family Congridae (order Anguilliformes). Adults typically reach 36.00 cm in maximum length. It inhabits marine coastal and open-ocean environments. It occurs in Deep-water waters. It feeds on a mix of small fish and invertebrates as a mid-level predator. On the IUCN Red List, it is classified as Least Concern.

Diagnosis: The color of this species is light yellow, fins light. Dorsal fin originates above the base of pectoral fin, above the 9th pore of lateral line. Anterior nostrils tubelike, posterior nostrils in the form of flap. Vertebrae 173; trunk vertebrae 73. Pores of lateral line to anus 47. Supraorbital canal 4, suborbital canal 5, preoperculomandibular canal 10, occipital commissure 0 .: eel-like.
