📖 Overview
Oreoglanis Macroptera (Oreoglanis macroptera), first described by Vinciguerra, 1890 is a small fish in the family Sisoridae (order Siluriformes). Adults typically reach 6.50 cm in maximum length. It inhabits freshwater systems including rivers, streams, and lakes. It occurs in Tropical waters. It is broadly omnivorous, taking invertebrates, plant matter, and detritus. On the IUCN Red List, it is classified as Least Concern.

Dorsal soft rays (total): 6; Anal soft rays: 3 - 4; Vertebrae: 37 - 41. Lower lip lacking a median notch and having an entire posterior margin. Caudal fin emarginate. Male genital papilla immediately behind the anus in a depression terminating posteriorly with a straight transverse wall .: elongated; Cross section: flattened.
