Neoconger Torrei (Neoconger torrei) is a ray-finned fish of the family Moringuidae. It inhabits marine (saltwater) waters in benthic environments. This species can reach a maximum total length of 19.3 cm. It occurs at depths between 3 and 55 metres. With a trophic level of 3.2, it is a low-level carnivore, feeding on invertebrates and small organisms.
Vertebrae: 104 - 107. This species is distinguished by the following characters: total vertebrae 104-107, preanal vertebrae 48-49; predorsal vertebrae 42-45; larvae with a sharp intestinal loop; presence of the posterior lateral melanophore and anterior ventral melanophore .Cross section: circular.
