Nannocharax Skeltoni (Nannocharax skeltoni), first described by Jerep, Dagosta & Ohara, 2018 is a tiny fish in the family Distichodontidae (order Characiformes). Adults typically reach 2.70 cm in maximum length. It inhabits freshwater systems including rivers, streams, and lakes. It occurs in Tropical waters. It is broadly omnivorous, taking invertebrates, plant matter, and detritus.

This species is distinguished by the following characters: with a series of narrow vertical bars, usually one-scale wide, and a small caudal peduncle spot surrounded by a light clear area at the base of the middle caudal-fin rays; lateral line scales 33-35; circumpeduncular scales 12 .Cross section: compressed.
