Mustura Prashadi (Mustura prashadi), first described by Hora, 1921 is a small fish. Adults typically reach 6.50 cm in maximum length. It inhabits freshwater systems including rivers, streams, and lakes. It occurs in Tropical waters. It is broadly omnivorous, taking invertebrates, plant matter, and detritus. On the IUCN Red List, it is classified as Vulnerable.

Processus dentiformis present; 9+8 branched caudal rays; 9 1/2 branched dorsal rays; males with a suborbital flap; complete lateral line; axillary pelvic lobe present; eye smaller than interorbital width; 4.9-5.2% SL (22-24% HL); black basal caudal bar complete; color pattern consisting of bars and reticulated spots; prepelvic length 54.3-55.9% SL; body depth 19.5-24.0% SL; length of caudal peduncle 15.7-16.5% SL .: elongated.
