🐟 Physical Description

Dorsal spines (total): 7; Dorsal soft rays (total): 7 - 8; Anal spines: 1; Anal soft rays: 7 - 9; Vertebrae: 26. Body greyish, scales with short vertical or curved dark lines, distinct brown oblique shoulder bar present . Longitudinal scales 23-28; TRB 8-12; predorsal scales 11-20, small, reaching up to behind eyes, one to several scales sometimes larger than others; scales on body mostly ctenoid; third to fourth dorsal fin spines longest . Caudal fin rounded to rectangular .: fusiform / normal.
