📖 Overview

The type locality, Gebiasi Creek, is a typical fragmented hydrologic system in a karstic environment. It emerges from a karstic cave then flows on about 60 m before disappearing in a subterranean outlet and reappears in the mangrove after 200 m underground from a small cave. This species inhabits the aerial river portion. The creek is characterized by blue and crystalline stream, narrow (to about 2-3 m wide), relatively shallow (up to about 1 m) and flowing in primary forest .
