Melanorivulus Javahe
📖 Overview
Collected from the shallowest parts of small streams, about 10-20 cm deep, locally known as Veredas or Buritizais (the streams are dominated by the buriti-palm Mauritia flexuosa), with orange clay bottom, in open vegetation of the Brazilian Cerrado. During the collection of the type series, the water was clear, pH 5.8 .
