Parin's wolf eelpout (Lycenchelys parini) is a ray-finned fish of the family Zoarcidae. It inhabits marine (saltwater) waters in deep-water environments. This species can reach a maximum total length of 16.4 cm. With a trophic level of 3.3, it is a low-level carnivore, feeding on invertebrates and small organisms.
Vertebrae: 125. Body slightly elongated, depth 5 % TL; 4 pores in the postorbital canal of the seismosensory system of the head, two pores in the occipital commissure; a posterior pore in the supraorbital canal, and the interorbital commissure has one pore; head short, 12.3% TL; preanal distance short, 28.5% TL; snout short, 23.5% of HL .: eel-like.
