Slender scorpionfish (Lioscorpius longiceps) is a ray-finned fish of the family Setarchidae. It inhabits marine (saltwater) waters in deep-water environments. This species can reach a maximum total length of 13 cm. It occurs at depths between 180 and 410 metres. With a trophic level of 3.2, it is a low-level carnivore, feeding on invertebrates and small organisms. Venomous.

Color in life pink, with 5 indefinite large dark blotches on the sides of the body: the first three below the spinous dorsal, one below the soft dorsal and one on the base of the caudal fin.: fusiform / normal.
