Lestidium Bigelowi (Lestidium bigelowi), first described by Graae, 1967 is a tiny fish in the family Paralepididae (order Aulopiformes). Adults typically reach 3.70 cm in maximum length. It inhabits marine coastal and open-ocean environments. Recorded depth range: 0 to 615 metres. It occurs in Tropical waters. It feeds on a mix of small fish and invertebrates as a mid-level predator. On the IUCN Red List, it is classified as Data Deficient.

🐟 Physical Description
Dorsal soft rays (total): 9 - 10; Anal soft rays: 28 - 29. Three luminous organs along the midventral line: one each at ishtmus, between bases of pectoral fins, and between bases of ventral fins and anus . Also Ref. 52915.: elongated.
