Dorsal spines (total): 0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 105 - 114; Anal spines: 0; Anal soft rays: 85 - 93. Mouth very small and asymmetrical, its length much shorter than eye diameter. Dentition developed only on blind side of jaws. Head small, 1/6 to 1/7 of SL. First 2 dorsal fin rays detached from others. Body with small spots.: short and / or deep; Cross section: compressed.
