📖 Overview
Danube delta dwarf goby (Knipowitschia cameliae), first described by Nalbant & Oţel, 1995 is a tiny fish in the family Gobiidae (order Gobiiformes). Adults typically reach 3.20 cm in maximum length. It inhabits freshwater systems including rivers, streams, and lakes. Recorded depth range: 0 to 1 metres. It occurs in Temperate waters. It feeds on a mix of small fish and invertebrates as a mid-level predator.

🐟 Physical Description
This species is distinguished from its congeners by the following characters: cephalic lateral line canals absent; scales on body limited under pectoral only. Both sexes are black dorsally, lighter towards the belly. Fins are dotted black, male with a black dot on intermediate membrane of first dorsal fin. Both sexes sometimes show two or three rows of black dots on second dorsal fin . Live breeding males with 10-15 dark, irregular bars .: fusiform / normal.
