🐟 Physical Description

Dorsal spines (total): 0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 0; Anal soft rays: 124 - 155. Anal fin rays 124-155; precaudal vertebrae 13-14; caudal vertebrae 66-71. Coloration pattern: dusky background with 18-26 saddle-like dark bands on middorsal between nape and end of anal fin; black margins usually present on pectoral fin rays. Snout 27-30% in head length; postorbital distance 60-67% in head length. Head with strongly convex anterior profile.
