Homaloptera Parclitella (Homaloptera parclitella) is a ray-finned fish of the family Balitoridae. It inhabits freshwater waters. This species can reach a maximum total length of 10 cm. With a trophic level of 3.2, it is a low-level carnivore, feeding on invertebrates and small organisms. It is assessed as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List.
Differs from other members of the Homaloptera ocellata group in possessing only 2 large saddle blotches on the body, 1 posterior to head, 1 covering dorsal fin base (saddle blotches posterior to head and below dorsal fin maybe continuous on flank), rarely with 1 saddle blotch between dorsal fin and caudal fin; base of caudal dark; 5 simple, 12-13 branched pectoral fin rays; 75-77 lateral line scales .: elongated.
