Dorsal spines (total): 6 - 7; Dorsal soft rays (total): 28 - 30; Anal soft rays: 28 - 31. Body marbled and with three or four short, broad, dark bars on upper parts of sides. Dorsally rays sometimes with a series of small spots, caudal fin faintly barred .: fusiform / normal.
