アンドンモグラアンコウ (Gigantactis perlatus) is a ray-finned fish of the family Gigantactinidae. It inhabits marine (saltwater) waters in deep-water environments. This species can reach a maximum total length of 22.3 cm. It occurs at depths between 670 and 2000 metres. With a trophic level of 4.1, it is a mid-level predator. It is assessed as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List.
Dorsal soft rays (total): 5 - 7; Anal soft rays: 5 - 7. Metamorphosed females distinguished by the following characteristics: have extremely large distal prolongation of escal bulb, entire escal densely covered with slightly elongated papillae; length of illicium less than 120% SL (74-111%SL in specimens greater than 30mm); pair of posterior escal appendages; large dentary teeth (longest 2.2-5.9% SL), arranged in two irregular longitudinal series; rays of caudal fin less than 35% SL .
