📖 Overview

Inhabit clear, fast rocky riffles of creeks and small to medium rivers ; also found in streams . Adults feed on midge and blackfly larvae, with baetid and heptageniid mayfly nymphs, hydropsychid and hydroptilid caddis larvae, and water mites . Eggs are found buried in the substrate .
