Blueside darter (Etheostoma jessiae) is a ray-finned fish of the family Percidae. It inhabits freshwater waters. This species can reach a maximum total length of 6.8 cm. With a trophic level of 3.3, it is a low-level carnivore, feeding on invertebrates and small organisms. It is assessed as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List.

Freshwater; benthopelagic. Temperate; 37°N - 34°N North America: occurs only in the middle and upper Tennessee River drainage (Bear Creek in Alabama, and upstream) of Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama in the USA.
