Dorsal spines (total): 0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 11; Anal spines: 0; Anal soft rays: 8. Diagnosis: mouth subterminal; barbels absent; lateral line incomplete; 20-22 scales in lateral line with 3-4 perforated scales; 10-12 circumpeduncular scales; black stripe (as broad as eye) from eye to origin of caudal peduncle; anterior margin of dorsal fin black . : fusiform / normal.
