Enteromius Anema (Enteromius anema) is a ray-finned fish of the family Cyprinidae. It inhabits freshwater waters. This species can reach a maximum total length of 3 cm. With a trophic level of 3, it is a low-level carnivore, feeding on invertebrates and small organisms. It is assessed as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List.

Diagnosis: last simple dorsal-fin ray smooth on hind margin; scale formula 3.5/22-25/3.5; 2.5 scales between lateral line and pelvic-fin base; 8-10 scales around caudal peduncle; lateral-line scales not deeper than other scales and marked with black, sometimes simulating a longitudinal band; 8 branched dorsal fin rays; no barbels; lateral line complete, straight; maximum reported size 30 mm SL . : fusiform / normal.
