Dolichopteryx Trunovi (Dolichopteryx trunovi) is a ray-finned fish of the family Opisthoproctidae. It inhabits marine (saltwater) waters in deep-water environments. This species can reach a maximum total length of 14.3 cm. It occurs at depths between 675 and 900 metres. With a trophic level of 3.7, it is a mid-level predator.
Dorsal soft rays (total): 11; Anal soft rays: 10; Vertebrae: 46 - 47. This species is characterized by myomeres 48; anal fin beginning after the vertical of the dorsal fin end ; eye shape, tubular and adipose fin present .
