Marine; reef-associated; depth range 1 - 15 m . Tropical; 27°N - 30°S, 32°E - 63°E south coast of Arabian Peninsula, Aldabra, Comoros, Madagascar, and coast of Africa from Kenya to Durban, South Africa.
