📖 Overview
Ceyhan spined loach (Cobitis evreni) is a ray-finned fish of the family Cobitidae. It inhabits freshwater waters. This species can reach a maximum total length of 11.7 cm. With a trophic level of 3.3, it is a low-level carnivore, feeding on invertebrates and small organisms. It is assessed as Endangered on the IUCN Red List.

Distinguished from all members of Bicanestrinia subgenus by following characters: the lack of a black spot on caudal base, reduced of 3rd Gambetta zone, absence of 5th Gambetta zone. The shape of the mouth, suborbital spines, laminae circularis and scales .: elongated; Cross section: compressed.
