Cirrhinus Rubirostris (Cirrhinus rubirostris) is a ray-finned fish of the family Cyprinidae. It inhabits freshwater waters in benthic environments. This species can reach a maximum total length of 17.2 cm. With a trophic level of 2.6, it is an omnivore, consuming both plant and animal matter. It is assessed as Data Deficient on the IUCN Red List.

Dorsal spines (total): 0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 10; Vertebrae: 35. Cirrhinus rubirostris differs from all other Cirrhinus in having both sexes with well developed rostral tubercles, and rostral tubercles and snout pinkish or rosy red. Rostral barbels absent, maxillary barbels present.: fusiform / normal.
