📖 Overview
Chiloglanis Polyodon (Chiloglanis polyodon) is a ray-finned fish of the family Mochokidae. It inhabits freshwater waters. This species can reach a maximum total length of 5.2 cm. With a trophic level of 3.1, it is a low-level carnivore, feeding on invertebrates and small organisms. It is assessed as Endangered on the IUCN Red List.

Diagnosis: buccal disk large and rounded; mandibular barbels short, no auxiliary barbels; premaxillary teeth large, arranged in 4-5 rows; 8+8 mandibular teeth; adipose fin short; caudal fin deeply forked; eyes not very large . Coloration: similar to that of Chiloglanis lamottei: body covered with numerous small dark spots, more or less uniformly distributed on dorsal surface .: elongated.
