Centrodraco Rubellus
📖 Overview
Centrodraco Rubellus (Centrodraco rubellus) is a ray-finned fish of the family Draconettidae. It inhabits marine (saltwater) waters in deep-water environments. This species can reach a maximum total length of 9.8 cm. It occurs at depths between 280 and 363 metres. With a trophic level of 3.3, it is a low-level carnivore, feeding on invertebrates and small organisms.

Dorsal spines (total): 3; Dorsal soft rays (total): 13 - 15; Anal soft rays: 13 - 14. Female first spine of first dorsal fin shorter than second spine. Male first spine of first dorsal fin bearing a filament. Upper third of caudal fin with a dark streak (Ref 42912).: elongated.
