Dorsal spines (total): 6 - 7; Dorsal soft rays (total): 12 - 13; Anal spines: 1; Anal soft rays: 10 - 11. Characterized by having completely united pelvic fins with well-developed frenum; very long and pointed caudal fin; longitudinal scale series 63-67; cycloid scales on head and body; predorsal scales absent; head with prominent papillae ridges; depth of body 8.5-9.0 in SL .: fusiform / normal.
