Beaufortia Intermedia (Beaufortia intermedia) is a ray-finned fish of the family Balitoridae. It inhabits freshwater waters in benthic environments. With a trophic level of 2.7, it is an omnivore, consuming both plant and animal matter. It is assessed as Data Deficient on the IUCN Red List.
Origin of pectoral fin at the nostril; origin of dorsal fin opposite of 2/3 of pelvic base (dorsal located comparatively rearwards); and anus close to or reaches pelvic margin .
