Bathycongrus Unimaculatus (Bathycongrus unimaculatus), first described by Karmovskaya, 2009 is a medium-sized fish in the family Congridae (order Anguilliformes). Adults typically reach 28.30 cm in maximum length. It inhabits marine coastal and open-ocean environments. Recorded depth range: 430 to 480 metres. It occurs in Tropical waters. It feeds on a mix of small fish and invertebrates as a mid-level predator. On the IUCN Red List, it is classified as Data Deficient.

🐟 Physical Description
A moderately elongated, small congrid eel of the genus Bathycongrus with a tapering tail, obtuse conical multiserial vomerine teeth of approximately the same size and a dark long spot on the posterior part of the anal fin. The snout is short, slightly longer than the eye diameter. The dorsal fin origin is under the end of the pectoral fins. Vert. 137, precaudal vertebrae 40. Lateral line pores in front of the anal opening 30 .: eel-like.
