📖 Overview
Bathycongrus Macrocercus (Bathycongrus macrocercus), first described by Alcock, 1894 is a fish in the family Congridae (order Anguilliformes). It inhabits marine coastal and open-ocean environments. It occurs in Deep-water waters. It feeds on a mix of small fish and invertebrates as a mid-level predator. On the IUCN Red List, it is classified as Least Concern.

🐟 Physical Description
Origin of dorsal fin above front margin of pectoral base. Vomerine teeth small with 2-4 slightly enlarged. Vomerine patch oval, almost circular, reaching opposite from of second IO pore.: eel-like.
