Barilius Caudiocellatus (Barilius caudiocellatus) is a ray-finned fish of the family Cyprinidae. It inhabits freshwater waters. This species can reach a maximum total length of 8.6 cm. With a trophic level of 3.2, it is a low-level carnivore, feeding on invertebrates and small organisms. It is assessed as Data Deficient on the IUCN Red List.

🐟 Physical Description
Dorsal soft rays (total): 10 - 11; Anal soft rays: 11 - 13. Distinguished from Barilius infrafasciatus and Barilius bendelisis by the presence of a black round spot at the caudal base, by the black dorsal rays and transparent dorsal membranes, by the posterior position of dorsal origin being midway between upper angle of gill aperture and caudal base or slightly nearer to the latter .: fusiform / normal.
