Bright silverside (Atherinella serrivomer), first described by Chernoff, 1986 is a fish in the family Atherinopsidae (order Atheriniformes). It inhabits marine coastal and open-ocean environments. It occurs in Tropical waters. It is broadly omnivorous, taking invertebrates, plant matter, and detritus. On the IUCN Red List, it is classified as Least Concern.
