Apteronotus Milesi (Apteronotus milesi) is a ray-finned fish of the family Apteronotidae. It inhabits freshwater waters. This species can reach a maximum total length of 22.1 cm. With a trophic level of 3.3, it is a low-level carnivore, feeding on invertebrates and small organisms. It is assessed as Data Deficient on the IUCN Red List.

🐟 Physical Description
Anal soft rays: 130 - 165. Distinguished from other species of the genus by the following combination of characters: body coloration light brown, with fine black pigment spots distributed over the integument (vs. even coloration or mottled in the remaining members of Apteronotus except for A. mariae). Differs from A. mariae by the lower number of anal-fin rays (130-165 vs. 162-180); and absence of or presence of a single paler band encircling the caudal-fin base .
