Apterichtus Soyoae (Apterichtus soyoae) is a ray-finned fish of the family Ophichthidae. It inhabits marine (saltwater) waters in benthic environments. This species can reach a maximum total length of 17.1 cm. With a trophic level of 3.6, it is a mid-level predator.
This species is distinguished by the following set of characters: tail 1.8, head 12.6, and body depth 45.0 in total length (tail 57.0% TL, head 8.0% TL, and body depth at gill opening 2.2% TL); tip of the lower jaw anterior to a vertical through anterior margin of eye; preopercular pores 3, supratemporal 5; teeth conical, uni serial on jaws, and a single vomerine tooth; VF 59-145 .Cross section: oval.
