📖 Overview

Occurs in coastal zones, also found in oasis pools with hypersaline to fresh water . Forms schools. Chiefly a herbivorous species . Spawn in areas where roots of hyacinth or other floating plants abound . Not a seasonal killifish. Very difficult to maintain in aquarium .
