Antigonia Socotrae (Antigonia socotrae) is a ray-finned fish of the family Antigoniidae. It inhabits marine (saltwater) waters. This species can reach a maximum total length of 11.2 cm. It occurs at depths between 260 and 350 metres. With a trophic level of 2.9, it is a low-level carnivore, feeding on invertebrates and small organisms.

Can be diagnosed from other species by having the following characters: 19-20 gill rakers; dorsal-fin rays VIII 32-33; anal-fin rays III 28-29; pectoral-fin rays I 13; caudal fin rays iv 12 iii; body elongated oval, upper and lower profiles without pronounced angles, upper anterior profile moderately steep with pronounced notch above eye and shallow notch in front of the beginning of dorsal fin; upper posterior profile almost straight, lower profile archlike; head length 2.4 times in SL, mouth slit subvertical; lips narrow; descending part of praemaxillare straight; and orbit diameter 2.5-2.8 times in HL .: short and / or deep; Cross section: oval.
