📖 Overview

Unusual among antennariids in often occupying brackish or even totally freshwater habitats. Most specimens were taken at 10 m depth or less. Oviparous. Eggs are bound in ribbon-like sheath or mass of gelatinous mucus called 'egg raft' or 'veil' .
