📖 Overview
Adults occur in brackish mangrove estuaries and lower reaches of freshwater streams . Probably feed on small insects, crustaceans and other invertebrates. Not seen in markets .

🐟 Physical Description
Dorsal spines (total): 7 - 8; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9 - 10; Anal spines: 3; Anal soft rays: 8 - 9. Cheek scales in 2 rows. Lateral line strongly curved midway and runs long with a silvery mid-lateral band. Lower margin of interoperculum with a single spine.: fusiform / normal; Cross section: compressed.
