Bicolor slickhead (Alepocephalus bicolor) is a ray-finned fish of the family Alepocephalidae. It inhabits marine (saltwater) waters in deep-water environments. This species can reach a maximum total length of 29 cm. It occurs at depths between 439 and 1080 metres. With a trophic level of 3.6, it is a mid-level predator.

Dorsal spines (total): 0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 21 - 22; Anal spines: 0; Anal soft rays: 28 - 29. Pored scales in lateral line more than 60. Anal fin rays numerous. Base of anal fin extending backward much beyond the posterior end of the dorsal fin. Orbit diameter less than two-thirds of snout length. Reaches 24 cm SL.: elongated; Cross section: oval.
